About Me
My name is Carly Huff and I'm a theater artist specializing in scenic painting. I'm 23 years old and located in Fairfield, Ohio. In my free time, I enjoy dancing, oil painting, and playing video games. I graduated with a major in Production Design and Technology at Ohio University with a focus on scenic painting. I also got a minor in Studio Art with an emphasis on oil painting.
My Artist Statement
Growing up, I was surrounded by creativity. My mother worked as the manager of a theater, which led me to be heavily influenced by the atmosphere of theatrical storytelling. I fell in love with both drawing and theater at a young age. In high school, I pursued both performing and visual arts. In college, I discovered I could combine both of my passions by painting for the theater. My mission is to share my love for creating with the world; some of my favorite ways to do this is by teaching others and creating personal artwork.
